Radio Lounge, a radio advertising agency located in Houston, TX (Sugar Land), has openings in its intern program for marketing interns. We are looking for personable, organized, reliable, self motivating and creative problem solvers who can think on their feet…and have an insatiable desire to become future marketing dynamos!
About these internships
Marketing interns will be responsible for helping execute Radio Lounge marketing initiatives. These include (but are not limited to) social media marketing, lead generation, market research, article creation and submission, social bookmarking, press releases, web marketing, newsletter generation, and more. Social media experience, knowledge of HTML and basic video production experience is a plus.
Marketing interns will work to support Radio Lounge’s current marketing efforts, organize task executions, and contribute to the overall sales and marketing effort of the company.
Past interns have also been known to participate in client projects…even create voice tracks from time to time!
Requirements
Hours are flexible between 8am and 6pm Monday – Friday. Preferably at least ten (10) hours per week.
The ideal intern is a quick learner, detail oriented and solid writer. Your results will be measured in consistency, timely execution of tasks, quality of task execution, self motivation and time management. You will gain deep knowledge of radio, advertising, marketing, and media by the end of the internship. You will also greatly expand your collection of contacts in local media, production facilities, agencies and businesses - not only here in Houston, but across the country.
Compensation
This position is unpaid. Interns who produce results will receive startup experience, a rave endorsement for future job opportunities, and experience building the skills of the future: aggregating, community- and audience-building and social media relations.
